No Audio after upgrade

After running sudo apt-get dist-upgrade audio went. to fix check the file /etc/group and make sure your username is next to audio and pulse. This fixed the issue, remove any reference to 'retro'.

Still not working?

Then run this command

sudo alsa force-reload

Still not working, well it seems there is an issue with Firefox and Alsa sound. Current work around is to open cmus, start playing a song, close it down. Then re open firefox and video sound will play in firefox. Not sure what is going on here. Will have to investigate further!!
